Stillness in Movement offers regular weekly public yoga classes at:
Breathing Space Yoga Group, a peaceful, boutique studio in Newmarket.

The studio is located at 19 Mauranui Ave, Newmarket, Auckland. See location map »

On Public Holidays there are usually schedule changes which are posted on our Facebook page or see below.


  Christmas Festive Season 

(Closed Sunday 20th December 2020 – Friday 8th January 2021) 

  • Last classes of 2020, Saturday 19th December 
  • First classes of 2021, Saturday 9th January, then all classes as usual except Tuesday early morning class, which will run as an Open Studio during January, where regular students can come along and do self practice. Regular class resumes after Waitangi Day Holiday (first early morning Personal Practice Class, Tuesday 9th February)

  • SATURDAY 6th: All classes as usual.
  • MONDAY 8th: No classes.

Easter 2021 (Friday 2nd - Monday 6th April)

ONE WEEK BREAK: No Classes from Thursday 1st – Wednesday 8th, all classes as usual from Thursday 9th April.

Queen's Birthday Weekend 2021

(Saturday 5th – Monday 7th February)

  • SATURDAY 5th: All classes as usual.
  • MONDAY 7th: No classes.

Labour Weekend 2021

(Saturday 23rd – Monday 25th October)

Whether you are new to yoga or an established practitioner, there is something to suit everyone at Stillness in Movement:

  • If you are new to yoga or Shadow Yoga, our Beginners class is a great place to start.
  • For individual attention if timings don’t work for you, or you have any particular needs that may not be able to addressed in a group setting, private tuition may suit you.
  • If you have an established practice already, contact Martina to see what class will suit you best.
